Stop by our booth where you can order CDs, DVDs or digital and digital HD Videos of the conference. Discs you can take home or have mailed. Digital Files are sent via an email link that canbe downloaded or played on all portable devices. If you’d prefer to have the MP3s mailed to you on a flash drive, please add $10 for the flash drive, plus shipping and we will mail it to you. Please allow 1-2 weeks for all mail order and MP3 processing.

The American Spiritual Ensemble was founded by Dr. Everett McCorvey in 1995. The mission of the American Spiritual Ensemble is to keep the American Negro Spiritual alive. Its members have sung in theaters and opera houses around the world, including the Metropolitan Opera, New York City Opera, Houston Grand Opera, The Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, and abroad in Italy, Germany, Britain, Scotland, Spain, China, and Japan. The repertoire of the American Spiritual Ensemble ranges from opera to spirituals to Broadway. The members of the American Spiritual Ensemble are soloists in their own right and have thrilled audiences around the world with their dynamic renditions of classic spirituals, jazz, and Broadway numbers highlighting the Black experience.

​The founder of the American Spiritual Ensemble is Dr. Everett McCorvey. Dr. McCorvey is a native of Montgomery, Alabama and he currently lives Lexington, Kentucky, where he is on the faculty of the University of Kentucky.  He holds an Endowed Chair in Opera Studies and is Director of Opera.  Dr. McCorvey is also the Artistic Director and Conductor of the National Chorale of New York City.
